Here's a pic aboard the USS Constellation with the Dishonorable Congressmen addressing the crew and guests in 2003. You gotta love the looks on the faces of the brass, especially the guy in the middle!

The link above doesn't seem to work any longer. Here's the image I got, along with some background text:

A great photo of Cunningham boring the crap out of a USN Captain and 2
Admirals at the decommissioning of the Constellation. Note the poor
bastard in the middle, the speaker is aimed at him!

"Was I shot down, or did I just run out of gas . . . " "Well, for a genuine Louis XIV commode for my tortured wife and if you will fix that da#@ rolls royce that Wade and De-Lay foisted on me, I'll tell you . . . maybe !"

Also Cunningham on that rolls royce had 4-blue stars over his base sticker in the window which to the military marked the occupant as a 4-star admiral. That car got more salutes and attention that a $5.00 hooker in Po City, PI. Oh, did the Flags living in San Diego and Coronado - Admirals Row - love that!

Paul! STOP IT, you're killing me! ROFLOL. ;-)

If you'll look closely at the picture, the Admiral in the middle just put his right foot through the speaker, hence the smirk below his scrambled eggs.

"I got a million of 'em!"

My first 2-years of college were studying to be a Priest. Heck yes I have a sense of humor - in Latin also! I went from studying to be a Priest to becoming a Navy fighter pilot, you figure that twisted brain function . . .

Bull Ensign on "War Chief" now that is something. I never was senior anything. Going through flight training, there were tons of Ensigns and a few JGs.

In the Fleet, many RIOs got to the fleet as Ensigns, and they had that Bull Ensign thing going in both the squadron and Air Group(Wing). All of the Aviators came to the fleet as JGs, unless they were NAVCADS that were commissioned when they got their wings.

When I resigned my commission, a total of 25 Aviators resigned at about the same time from my Air Group . . . a lot of experience lost . . . People ask me what was the best thing about being a Naval Aviator. My response is "Having lived through it." The military-industrial-congressional complex had no qualms about killing us off. Their kids were all in the National Guard and not going to war - Bush, Chaney, Quaile etc.
