The Unauthorized Randy “Duke” Cunningham Page

Finally some solid information as to the thrust of the investigation of Randy:

It's not looking too good for The Duke. "Demanded a bribe" is a very strong phrase, as I am sure the U.S. attorney's office is aware. When things like that are said, they must have some pretty good evidence. Where could have this evidence come from? I am betting on Mr. Wade, quite frankly.

If that is true, it's not really surprising. Given Mr. Wades' past behavior, it's just business.

Also not surprisingly, I found nothing featured prominently on the national media outlets. After doing a search, I found this on the WP website:

It is not Wade who is rolling over, it is the Realtor® that handled both sides of the sale.

Interestingly, Duke did not bring in his old backseater, Willie Driscoll to handle the real estate transaction. Old Willie is a Realtor®. But, perhaps in a show of loyality, Cunningham kept his GIB - "Guy in the back" out of it to protect him in case the S••• hit the fan. Which it indeed has. I've been told that the FBI has interviewed Willie a couple of times. I hope that he did not pull a Martha Stewart and lied to protect him.
