A lot of us that knew Cunningham from our days in the Nav with him knew that he was dumb as a box of rocks. A lot of us knew that his politics were bogus and playing to the ultra right - tell the suckers what they want to hear. A number of us went the other way when he came in the room.

But few of us knew that he was a crook. How did you figure it out, what led you to it? I believe that you were onto his act, long before the house deal. Am I correct?

I started out not liking his dumb remarks, besides his not having much intelligence.

I found little by little that he was a crook, but I never thought it was as never as bad as it turned out. The defense contractor campaign contributions, breaking and entering into his CO's office, then in 1997, ADCS and Kelly C, all seemed beyond usual.
