 "Tiger Cruise" 2001

Here's a URL for a friends website who was aboard the USS Contellation on a "Tiger Cruise" back in 2001. The planes and ordinance have changed since the "Duke Days" of 1971-'72. But "Connie", the good old Gal still looks the same in these photos as she did back then. (Yes , she did have a couple face-lifts/tummy tucks that we veterans can easily ignore).
Any of you former carrier jockeys that want to add comments to the photos, please feel free to do so.

FYI, a "Tiger Cruise" is a short 2 or 3 day affair whereby crew members may have their families aboard, as well as the press, dignitaries and VIP's. They get all the frills and sizzle of being aboard an incredible vessel.....without the 4 year (or more) 'hitch'! This particular "Tiger Cruise" was going on when the infamous NINE-ELEVEN trajedies occured.
