Dukestir's Nancy Lifset & General Atomics

Nancy Lifset was the Dukestir's Legislative Director. She also was the only one of his staff to have been subpoenaed by the Grand Jury last year.

Apparently, she also was an expensive ($36 grand) "frequent flier" on General Atomics' dime.

See today's TPMmuckraker blog, following the money:

Well, this is a most interesting twist because the president and ceo of General Atomics is none other than RAdm. Tom Cassidy, former Navy fighter pilot F-8, F-4 and F-14 and close cronie of Cunningham.

But, you see, even it there is proved wrong doing, nothing will happen because we need General Atomic's Preditor program.

Cassidy was supposedly one of the senior officers that came to Cunningham's defense and protected him when he broke into Jack Ready's office to look at the fitreps and Jack was gunning to court marshal his a$$.

But . . . . just how does one court marshal a Navy ace? A living legion in his own mind, and many other minds.

We mere mortals just shook our heads and someone said, "Bring 'em out, who paid last time?" And life went on . . .

As the Cunningham Scandal Grows:

"More than half of the trips paid for by General Atomics have taken congressional staffers to Europe or Australia. Check out all the trips, who went and how much the trips cost."

Also, the ever-widening scandal keeps nipping on the heels of Duncan Hunter:
