Today, May 10, is the 34th anniversary of Randy's great achievement and claim to fame.

Today he is in prison and an admitted felon.

What an awful fall from grace and glory. From being one of the most respected aviators, to being one of the most despised congressmen ever.

Has it really been 34 years? These "Bull Ensign" bars keep getting heavier every year.

Just to prove how much I miss the Navy, I set my alarm clock for 1:50 AM tomorrow morning. I will get up in a hurry and run to the bridge (my kitchen) and stare out through the kitchen window into the darkness with my 7x50 binoculars for 2 hours. I figure that oughta just about do it, and I won't miss the Navy for another year!

Yes, it is very sad what happened. At this stage in life, Randy, Willy, yourself and a whole bunch of others oughta be able to get together for "old tymes sake" and do some laughin and scratchin about all the stuff you shared in common. Same goes for other Navy folks. What Randy did as a Congressman not only put him in jail, but it tainted the honor and achievements of those alongside him. He owes so many apologies, that I don't think he even has enough time to address the envelopes.
