Is there a particular reason that Randy Cunningham has no e-mail addresss?

Actually Mr. Cunningham has email, but the email address is secret.

I would ask Mr. Cunningham, if you can, why he doesn't release his email address to his constituents. I can only guess. He would have to hire additional staff to read and answer the email from constituents. Email is a lot easier to send than letters and faxes, so he'll definitely get more feedback from people in his district—something he really doesn't need to care about. He's in a safe district and will never be defeated unless there's a major scandal or something.

It is not unusual at all today to find members of the House without publicly announced email addresses. The reason is simply because they don't want to hear from anyone including their own constituencies. Kind of amazing, but the ones I've come across are Republicans and tend to be relatively new. The Indian [from India] Bobby something-or-other from Louisiana is one that comes to mind immediately.
