Wow, it must be tough to poke fun at Cunningham on your web page.

I'm not a particular fan of Cunningham's, I often disagree with him. But before you criticize him for cutting federal edu-funds, or standing up for private property rights, or opposing the illegal war in Kosovo (if you feel so strongly, why aren't YOU over there? I guess it's safer to expect someone else to spill blood so you can feel compassionate), opposing campaign finance reform (tax dollars for politicians), etc...; why don't you read the Constitution. When you finish that, try the Federalist Papers.

I know the ideas expressed in those two documents won't square with your (and other liberals') views of government's role. It will be uncomfortable for you to realize that the Founders' vision for the United States was far different than is yours. No one is stopping you from working to make our country a better place, it's just so much easier to expect Washington to fix your problems; and force someone else to pay the bill. That must afford you the spare time you need to engage in this one-sided ideological debate with Cunningham.
