A great guy, a Scooter pilot. He founded the Skyhawk Assn. has passed. He was an excellent guy.
He shot those night approaches to the boat in the Gulf on those poopy shittty nights all alone in his Tinker Toy with no one to talk to, or watch his altitude, see the ship for him and calm in down in the night bolter pattern and lived through the war.
He did a root canal on me. God did he love having an F-8/F-4 driver in the chair!
I am proud to have known him, and am better for having known him.
