Don't know if this is true, but if so it is bizarre.....then again it's Tom Cruise.

Both Cunningham and Tom Cruise are bizarre in their own way, but they are not pals.

Tom Cruise sued when Cunningham used a photo of Cruise and Cunningham posing together in an early political campaign.

The producer of "Top Gun: the Movie" denied that Tom Cruise's character was based on Cunningham. It was based on a composite of pilots, not including Cunningham. Furthermore, it's not highly accurate (then again what Hollywood movie is accurate?).

No kidding...Maverick would have been kicked out of the Navy long before he went to Top Gun for all of his flight violations....but the average joe public thinks thats how all fighter pilots are.

As for Satire from John, I agree. It has to be a spoof what with the Rolls Royce....I guess they would park it in the prison parking lot for 7 more years for Randy to look at and dream about.

That link/post was made a year ago and nothing else has ever appeared about this so-called movie. Just a spoof.
