Actually, I think Cunningham will do quite well in prison. He has made several inflamatory statements as pointed out in the article (and well documented on this website). However, those who meet him say he's personable and a basic down-to-earth guy. That's my 2 cents anyway.

I keep on thinking though, how can someone be so stupid to accept bribes (not just campaign contributions), when he could have made that much and more, legally, as a lobbyist. Not that it should be legal, but it is. The guy he defeated back in 1992 or so in the Republican primary, Bill Lowery, did just that and is richer than Cunningham (and not in jail!).
